We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Assistant/ HR Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing a variety of HR functions, including recruitment, employee engagement, policy review, compensation and benefits, and vendor management. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HR best practices, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the HR team in managing the full spectrum of HR functions
- Implement improvements to HR processes and systems, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency
- Assess and implement necessary changes to the payroll system, including system migration
- Review and update company policies and the employee handbook to ensure compliance with labor laws and industry best practices
- Work with relevant stakeholders to manage compensation packages for new hires/ internal transfer
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments
- Oversee the processing of HR documentation, including employment contracts, job changes, and terminations
- Manage conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
- Collaborate with leadership to design and implement effective employee retention strategies
- Plan, coordinate, and execute company-wide activities that promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture
- Lead the annual performance appraisal process
- Liaise with insurers, insurance brokers, or agents to manage the purchase and renewal of group general and medical insurance
- Analyze trends in compensation and benefits to ensure competitiveness and fairness
- Consolidate and review regional payroll
- Handle any additional ad-hoc projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of HR generalist experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role preferably within the IT field
- Strong understanding of HR systems, payroll processes, and stakeholder management
