Assistant Manager, Skills Development

We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual in a renewable 1 year contract position. The potential for contract extensions based on performance is available.

Salary Range: $4,000 to $4,600 (Depending on experience)

Location: Lifelong Learning Institute, 11 Eunos Road 8, Singapore 408601

Working hours: 8.30am to 6.00pm (Monday to Thursday), 8.30am to 5.30pm (Friday)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage and lead discussions with Knowledge Partners including Autonomous Universities, Polytechnics, private training providers, and corporate academies.
  • Support Functional Leads in project activities for certification assessment management, including application management, technical support, and e-learning content development.
  • Provide support in the assessment preparatory platform management, such as user tracking and invoice management.
  • Develop and manage Knowledge Partners Accounts to build both academic and non-academic pathways to Skills Badge attainment.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders in developing strategies and implementing initiatives to signpost HR professionals and businesses to sign up for courses leading to Skills Badges.
  • Provide support in daily project life cycles such as vendor management, invoice management, project scheduling, and IT application implementations.
  • Review and refresh the Skills Badges online platform to ensure that it is up to date and relevant.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to extract, transform, and analyze competency data, conducting skills/needs analysis and engaging in data storytelling to advance upskilling and recertification efforts for the certified HR community.
  • Preparatory Content Management: Maintain and track revisions of content changes on preparatory platform and offline copies. Uploading, revision of content where required.
  • Reporting and maintenance of dashboard on key indicators relating to usage and candidate satisfaction on a weekly basis.
  • Any other work assigned by the reporting officer from time to time.
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Enjoys collaborative work and adept at managing stakeholders
  • Competent in using data for analysis, visualization, reporting and presentation
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
