Element has an opportunity for an Engineer (Fire Product Testing) to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team, the Engineer position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision.
Job Duties:
- Liaise with customers for proposal and job arrangement
- Perform quality checks on equipment prior to site deployment
- Conduct hardware mecahnical test and witness at customer's site or designated site
- Prepare test and inspection reports
- Upkeep of testing equipment and calibration records
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Candidate with prior testing experience and working knowledge of laboratory safety would be an added advantage
- Knowledge and understanding of the local and international fire testing standards, building elements design standards and regulations
- Ability to interpret technical documents
- Able to miltitask and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skill
