Our client is a well-known restaurant brand, originating from China known for its commitment to quality, and taste, and are in the midst of starting operations here in Singapore. With concrete plans for the future, its objective is to develop new business opportunities and boost its presence in the market. It is looking to build a team of passionate change-drivers who will work closely with the management team to bring the organisation to new heights, and to deliver strong, fast and sustainable growth beyond 2024.
key responsibilities:
- Business Planning: Create and monitor both annual and monthly business plans for multiple restaurants within Singapore, ensuring they align with and achieve the company’s goals.
- Profit Optimization: Analyze financial data and operational challenges, collaborating with restaurant teams to design and implement profit improvement strategies, with regular progress tracking.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to maintain consistent standards in food safety (QA) and Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC). Identify issues, propose solutions, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Talent Development: Manage and develop the talent pipeline for restaurants under your supervision, including conducting performance evaluations and preparing for future staffing needs.
- Staffing Allocation: Optimize workforce distribution across outlets within the region to ensure seamless operations across all locations.
- Financial Oversight: Enforce compliance with the company’s financial policies, particularly cash handling, to ensure secure and efficient cash flow management.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on competitor activities and local market trends, providing insights that guide expansion plans and strengthen brand visibility.
qualifications & skills:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher, with over 10 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, including at least 2 years overseeing multi-unit restaurant operations.
- Passion for the F&B sector; experience with managing large-scale chain restaurants or fast-food restaurants is preferred.
- Proven ability to identify challenges and develop solutions using data-driven approaches.
- Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills, with experience in coaching and motivating teams to achieve operational excellence.
