Working Hours: 9am to 6pm (Mon - Fri)
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the calculation of wages, deductions, and withholdings, ensuring adherence to statutory requirements such as Central Provident Fund (CPF) contributions and Skills Development Levy (SDL).
- Ensure Accurate and timely payment of salary which includes hourly / daily / monthly paid employees depending on the terms and conditions of employment.
- Review payroll transactions, including adjustments, bonuses, and incentives, while ensuring compliance with employment contracts and relevant legislation.
- Stay updated on relevant Singaporean labour laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements governing payroll processes.
- Ensure compliance with CPF contributions, SDL, Income Tax Act, and other relevant regulations, maintaining accurate records and timely submissions.
- Oversee the integration and implementation of payroll system module, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with Singaporean regulatory requirements.
- Generate and analyse payroll reports to ensure adequate checks, reviews, as well as to support decision-making and identify trends or areas for improvement, leveraging data analytics tools and software.
- Other ad hoc duties assigned
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a Singapore context.
- In-depth knowledge of Singaporean labour laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements related to payroll processing, particularly in the security or labor-intensive industries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, accounting software – SAP or Oracle, payroll software and systems, with experience in implementation and maintenance preferred.
