Role:
- Become a strong face of the company presence, firstly in Singapore and eventually across the entire APAC region.
- Develop accurate strategies and fast solutions, bringing a fresh perspective to secure new long-term customers.
- Drive sales growth.
- Conduct marketing activities, participate in marine-related events, and represent the company at exhibitions, fairs, and similar industry gatherings.
- Expand professional network.
- Enhance brand awareness.
- Build and manage a sales team.
- Develop creative projects to expand the business.
- Visit existing and potential customers on a regular basis.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales within the Singapore marine industry.
- Strong contacts and established relationships with technical superintendents, technical departments, purchasing departments, and operations departments.
- Robust network with ship management companies, charterer companies, shipowners, etc.
- Confident in selling consumable products and chemicals.
- Ability to convince customers by presenting unique perspectives and effectively managing perceptions.
- Outgoing personality with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and self-motivate.
- Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
- Experience in chemicals is an advantage.
- Able to thrive in a self-starting environment, driven by results.
