Roles & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document user requirements for the core banking system.
- Conduct workshops and interviews to understand user needs and expectations.
- Write and document the current (as-is) processes to understand existing workflows and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop the future (to-be) processes that align with the new core banking system, ensuring they meet business objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
- Review and provide feedback on the Functional Specification Document (FSD) to ensure alignment with user requirements.
- Work closely with technical teams to clarify any ambiguities in the FSD.
- Develop comprehensive testscripts based on user requirements and FSD.
- Ensure test scripts cover all functional scenarios and edge cases.
- Coordinate and facilitate UAT sessions with end-users to validate the functionality of the core banking system.
- Document UAT results, track defects, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Collaborate with the data migration team to ensure accurate and complete data transfer from the legacy system to the new core banking system.
- Validate data integrity and completeness post-migration.
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.
- Gather feedback from users post-implementation and recommend improvements to enhance user experience and system functionality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
- Proven experience in user requirements gathering, BIA, UAT, and system implementation.
- Familiarity with core banking systems and banking operations is ideal
- Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
