The successful candidate will be part of Finance Division, Payrolls Department. He/She will be responsible for Payrolls’ operational matters such as ensuring the completeness, timeliness and accuracy in the processing of payroll, reporting of Central Provident Fund (CPF) to the CPF Board and submission of claims to the various government agencies. He/She will ensure prompt and accurate reporting of personal tax to Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS).He/She will also provide support relating to business processes and system changes to ensure compliance with regulatory, accounting and company’s policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitors and ensures that the Payroll and CPF reporting are complete, accurate and processed on a timely basis.
- Ensures accurate and timely reporting of employees’ personal tax (IR8A or IR21) to IRAS
- Review and ensure the accuracy and completeness of accruals/JVs. Check for omissions/errors in JVs.
- Approval of AR and AP invoices.
- Monitors and ensures the accuracy and timely reporting of claims to the various government authorities.
- Oversees mass upload of functional allowances.
- Handles payroll related queries from internal users, internal and external auditors, as well as government agencies.
- Works closely with Business Technology Finance on business requirements, user stories and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements.
- Supervision of staff.
- Any other projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification recognised by ISCA or ACCA qualifications. Knowledge of SAP FICO or SAP HR/Payrolls systems will be an advantage.
