FINANCE EXECUTIVE

Location: West (Tuas)
Working Hours: 5 Days Work Week (Mon-Fri - 8.30am to 6pm)

Responsibilities:
Incumbent will be in charge of mainly 3 entities
- Responsible for General Ledger (GL), Fixed Asset and Inventory functions
- Prepare and post journal entries during month end financial close
- Perform variance and trend analysis at entity level
- Responsible for month end closing, yearly financial closing and quarterly reporting
- Correspond and resolve operational issues with various other departments
- Prepare balance sheet schedules
- Prepare quarterly GST submission and attend external bodies enquiries
- Assist in the annual budgeting exercise
- Handle audit and tax matters for the entity
- Any other tasks/projects assigned by GL accountant
Job Requirements:
- At least a Diploma in Finance or Accounting related field.
- Minimum of at least 1 years of experience in a similar capacity with knowledge in full set account (which includes variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, corporate tax and providing detailed insights from generated reports & collaboration with BU).
- Proficient in MS applications (i.e. Word, Excel pivot table, vlookup, PowerPoint).
- Analytical thinking, detail oriented with good organisational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills for presenting financial data
