Job Responsibilities:
- Provide technical consultancy and advice on system design and configuration.
- Implement system infrastructure expansion, including design and configuration.
- Monitor and analyze system performance to ensure optimal operation.
- Assist customers in verifying, isolating, and providing temporary workarounds for logged incidents or problems.
- Resolve system incidents and problems onsite.
- Escalate unresolved issues and service requests to the appropriate System and/or Software Engineer, and report escalations to the Operations/Project Manager.
- Generate and maintain relevant administrative records and reports.
- Apply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes as needed.
- Maintain and manage system configurations.
- Liaise with OEMs, vendors, or subcontractors for technical support when required.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of IT experience. At least 2 years working as a System Engineer in an operational environment.
- Strong technical skills, particularly in system-related domains.
- Solid understanding and appreciation of infrastructure system design.
- Ability to handle demanding service response and recovery turnaround times.
- Proven ability to manage daily support tasks to meet stringent SLA requirements.
- Experience working in a cloud environment is an advantage.
- ITIL certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in the following products is highly desirable: Windows Server OS 2019
