● Identify WSH non-compliance, unsafe work conditions and practices.
● Report instances of WSH non-compliance, unsafe work conditions and practices to team
members.
● Prepare HSES plan for site activities and management.
● Prepare training material and conduct safety inductions and orientations for contractors.
● Ensures safety documents and issues work permits to contractors in collaboration with
Project Engineer and operation.
● Ensures that site works have proper safety documents and follow correct safety
procedures, conduct toolbox meetings and ensure site safety procedures are followed.
● Contribute suggestions to mitigate recurrences of incidents and accidents.
● Address and provide counsel on specific instances of WSH non-compliance and unsafe
work practices.
● Follow Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (EPRP) when responding to
emergency situations.
● Maintains site safe and clean working environment by enforcing internal procedures,
rules, and regulations.
● Maintains product and company reputation by complying with state and company policy
and regulations.
● Comply with Air Liquide safety regulations and SOP.
● Contributes to project team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
● Able to work independently and less supervision required.
● Willing to work late or during weekends when required.
● Proficient in Preparation and Checking Risk assessment (RA) and Method of Statement
(MOS).
● Proficient in MOM WSH requirement
● Minor Site Coordination to supervise the site activities
Experience:
● Minimum of 2 yrs experience working on site safety coordinator or Site supervision in semiconductor industries.
● Experience working at process/equipment construction site, plant installation, EPC, or equivalent.
Skills:
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and presentation
● Proficient with Microsoft office application and Microsoft project or equivalent
● Proficient with Google docs, sheet, slides…etc
Qualifications:
● Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree in health and safety or a related field may be preferred
● Registration as a Certified Safety Professional or similar form of licensure as a safety officer
● Willing to work at a outdoor construction sites.
● BCSS, WAH Supervisor Certificate is an advantage.
