Job Description:
- Support the Manager in managing a fleet of LNG carriers
- Owner representative for a fleet of LNG carriers on long term charterer
- Ensure effective communication and co-ordination with Charterer, Owners, and Ship Technical Managers
- Ensure effective governance and compliance of all commercial and ship management contracts
- Ensure vigorous control and review of ship technical manager actual spend v budget
- Prepare quarterly / year end OPEX reports with variance analysis for manager review and sign off.
- Ensure safe and reliable transportation of LNG and maximize Owner profits
- Support LNG and Offshore division in managing customer relationships and enhancing overall commercial value.
- Support insurance manager and minimize impact to P&L
- Owner representative for industry events
- Provide commercial/operational support to business development // project teams when required.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Maritime Business or related field
- A good working knowledge of LNG/LPG/Tankers shipping commercial operations
- Familiarity with LNG/LPG/Tankers time charter/ shipbuilding contractual terms and associated
- commercial agreements.
- Ability to read basic financial statements
- Good cultural awareness with the ability to engage with various stakeholders worldwide
