We are representing our client in the Food Distribution space to hire for a Procurement Manager.
Responsibilities
- Optimize procurement processes to ensure competitive pricing, cost savings, and value creation.
- Lead demand forecasting with sales and marketing, addressing inventory needs, supply risks, and opportunities.
- Analyze sales trends to improve forecasting and inventory planning.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships for raw materials, ingredients, and packaging.
- Collaborate on strategic growth initiatives and mentor the team for long-term success.
- Develop and oversee procurement policies, systems, and workflows, ensuring alignment with financial standards.
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and provide staff training.
Requirements:
- At least 8–10 years in procurement, ideally in FMCG or food sourcing (meat/dairy experience preferred).
- Import knowledge is advantageous.
