We are an education centre located at Ang Mo Kio Ave 3 (2 branches) and Hougang Ave 8 looking for student care teachers to join us!
Commencement: Jan 2025, training will be conducted in Nov 2024
Working hours: Daily Monday to Friday | 11AM - 7PM (Normal School Days) 8AM - 6PM (School Holidays except December Holidays, subjected to changes)
Responsibilities:
- Plan weekly schedule for students, including holiday activities
- Supervise and guide children to complete daily homework and spelling from school
- Plan, prepare and mark additional assignments for revision, include going through corrections as well
- Plan weekly enrichment activities
- Deliver effective classroom management
- Must be able to be firm and strict when necessary
- Communicate effectively with children and parents
- Fetch students from their school (walking distance)
- Daily parents update via app
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or A Levels graduate
- 1 year of teaching or student care experience preferred
- Singaporeans only
- Able to coach P1 to P6 English, Math, Science and Mandarin subjects
- Able to interact well with children and manage their behaviour
- Able to be firm with students
- Team player with strong passion and patience in teaching/guiding children
- MUST be able to commit for at least 1 year or long term (preferred)
- Responsible and punctual
- Takes initiative
- Technology savvy
- Able to attend a 2/3-day training
