SCOPE OVERVIEW

  • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of policy payments and commissions, adhering to established procedures and deadlines.
  • Support the month-end closing process, including reviewing commission and referral reports, preparing journal entries, and posting them to the general ledger (Oracle).
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in bank and balance sheet reconciliations, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Ensure all insurance fund transactions are accurately recorded and reported, in compliance with the organization’s fund management policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and reconcile interfund transactions, ensuring proper tracking and timely resolution to maintain accurate fund balances.
  • Ensure compliance with internal control policies and regulatory standards, safeguarding the organization’s financial assets.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and work closely with external auditors to ensure the smooth completion of audit.
  • Support Operations and Customer Care departments by furnishing required information timely to prevent customers' compliant.
  • Identify gaps in financial controls and proactively develop strategies to mitigate potential risks.

  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • Preferably with insurance background
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
