Senior IT Project Manager with Public Sector Experience

Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned IT Project Manager with a minimum of 10 years of experience to lead and manage complex IT projects, particularly in the public sector. The ideal candidate will have expertise in CRM solutions, a proven track record in project management within Singapore’s public sector, and a strong ability to deliver high-quality solutions that align with organizational goals. As this role involves working closely with government agencies, only Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents (PR) will be considered.


Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and timelines.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including risk management, resource allocation, and milestone tracking.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Collaborate with public sector stakeholders to understand requirements, define project objectives, and secure approvals.

• Act as the main point of contact between clients, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

CRM Implementation (Preferred):

• Manage projects related to CRM implementation and enhancement, ensuring systems meet business needs and compliance requirements.

• Work with technical teams to integrate CRM solutions with other enterprise systems.

Public Sector Expertise:

• Ensure projects adhere to Singapore public sector IT governance frameworks, standards, and procurement processes.

• Leverage knowledge of public sector operational requirements to deliver tailored solutions.

Team Leadership:

• Manage and lead cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, ensuring optimal performance and professional growth.

Budget and Resource Management:

• Oversee project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial constraints.

• Allocate and manage resources effectively to meet project demands.

Monitoring and Reporting:

• Track project performance and progress using appropriate tools and metrics.

• Prepare and present detailed project reports to senior management and stakeholders.


Qualifications:

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project management.

• At least 5 years of experience managing projects in the Singapore public sector is mandatory.

• Hands-on experience with CRM solutions, such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms, is highly preferred.


Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

• PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications are advantageous.


Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of IT systems, enterprise applications, and system integration.

• Familiarity with public sector IT governance, procurement policies, and compliance standards.


Soft Skills:

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Requirements:

• Mandatory: Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident (PR) due to public sector engagement requirements.

• Demonstrated experience in managing IT projects within the Singapore public sector.

• Availability to work on-site in Singapore as needed.
