Job Description:
- Food Preparation and Culinary Labs Management
o Assist teachers in preparing materials for weekly food practicals and theory lessons.
o Maintain the cleanliness of the culinary labs and preparation room on a daily basis.
o Perform daily safety checks on sharp tools, knives, and gas stoves after lessons.
- Inventory Management
o Assist teachers in placing weekly orders for food ingredients, materials and cleaning supplies for the department.
o Support the ad-hoc purchase of raw food materials from supermarket and other vendors.
o Check and account for the delivery of ingredients and kitchen supplies.
o Keep a proper inventory record of all culinary stores and books in the Culinary Laboratories.
o Conduct termly checks of inventory items and report any items that require replacement.
- Students Management
o Assist teachers in supervising the safety and discipline of students during lessons.
- Other Administrative Support
o Assist in preparing materials for weekly practicals and theory lessons.
o Provide administrative support for adhoc duties and projects assigned by the School.
Working Arrangement:
- Location: Hougang
- Salary: $1900/Month
- Working Hours:
• School Terms: Mon - Fri (7.15am to 4.30pm)
• School Holidays: Mon - Fri (8am to 5.15pm)
*Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays unless required for school events.
Contract Duration: 2 Jan 2025 to 31 Oct 2025
Job Requirements:
- must complete primary school education.
- preferably have 2 years of relevant experience in food preparation and hygiene standards.
- Possesses basic mathematical and computer skills.
