Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to lead quality initiatives across our supplier base for thermal cooling solutions in the electronics and computing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring supplier quality and process reliability, working closely with suppliers to meet product excellence standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier Quality Monitoring & Improvement: Develop and implement supplier quality monitoring systems to ensure materials and components meet required quality standards. Identify and resolve non-conformance issues with suppliers.
- Supplier Process Optimization: Partner with suppliers to enhance their processes, improving yield and ensuring consistent quality of materials and components.
- Abnormal Quality Issue Management: Lead efforts to address and resolve abnormal quality issues with suppliers, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Supplier Audits & Compliance: Conduct supplier audits to assess quality systems, process capabilities, and compliance with industry standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on audit findings.
- Supplier Development: Collaborate with suppliers to enhance their quality processes, ensuring alignment with company standards and customer expectations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with design, production, and procurement teams to ensure effective communication and alignment on supplier quality expectations.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by working closely with suppliers to enhance their quality management systems and manufacturing processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in the related field
- Proven experience in supplier quality engineering, particularly in manufacturing or electronics environments.
- In-depth knowledge of supplier quality management systems and industry standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with supplier audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement practices.
- Six Sigma certification or similar is an advantage.
- Able to communicate with Chinese clients
- Willingness to travel extensively and work abroad in China or Vietnam for at least 10 months annually.
