Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure all warehouse activities comply with safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of warehouse activities.
- Implement operational policies and procedures to optimize warehouse efficiency.
- Ensure the safe and effective use of warehouse equipment.
- Act as the company’s safety officer, prioritizing staff safety and security.
- Lead and manage the warehouse team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment to enhance team morale.
- Assist with deliveries when required.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
To Succeed in This Role, You Should Have:
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
- Proficiency in speaking and understanding Japanese to liaise with management.
- Valid forklift license.
- Possession of a Class 3 driving license.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related software.
- Solid understanding of inventory control and logistics principles.
