Commercial Asset Management Senior Executive (Maritime)
Job Scope:
- Support the Manager in managing a fleet of LNG carriers
- Ensure effective communication and co-ordination with Charterer, Owners, and Ship Technical Managers
- Ensure safe and reliable transportation of LNG and maximize Owner profits
- Support LNG and Offshore division in managing customer relationships and enhancing overall commercial value
- Ensure vigorous control and review of ship technical manager's actual spend v budget
- Prepare quarterly / year end OPEX reports with variance analysis for manager review and sign off
- Ensure Company (HQ) reports are submitted as per the agreed deadlines
- Support insurance manager and minimize impact to P&L
- Assist Manager during crisis management situations
- Represent Company and JVs at owner, charterer and Industry events
Job requirements:
- Degree in maritime and/ or business/Maritime/Shipping focus degree
- A good working knowledge of LNG/LPG/Tankers shipping commercial operations
- Familiarity with LNG/LPG/Tankers time charter/ shipbuilding contractual terms and associated commercial agreements
- Ability to read basic financial statements
- Excellent communication skills
- Commercially astute with a sharp eye for detail
- Capable to report complex commercial matters in a few salient points and provide resolution(s) to manage
