Key Responsibilities:
- Design end-to-end architecture for large-scale software systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance. This takes place at pre-sales stage and leads into the delivery / implementation phase.
- Lead the development of multi-tenant solutions hosted on AWS and Azure, aligning with best practices and industry standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications and architecture designs.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software development and systems engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to enhance system performance and developer productivity.
- Ensure that all architectural designs comply with security and compliance requirements.
- Conduct system performance evaluations and recommend enhancements to meet business goals.
- Document architecture designs, including diagrams and specifications, for future reference and team knowledge sharing.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role with a focus on large-scale software systems.
- Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically AWS and Azure, with experience in designing scalable, resilient architectures.
- Strong understanding of multi-tenancy concepts and implementation strategies.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in guiding software development and systems engineering teams.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Experience with design / implementation of complex data architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect).
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
