Main Duties:
- Manage / Supervise & Coordinate project's day to day activities including installation and coordination with consultants, main contractors and subcontractors.
- Coordinate and report to Client with site coordination, site progress and site execution matters.
- Develop and Track the project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems on time to ensure the project progress on time.
- Determines project schedule by studying project plans and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
- Coordination with Consultant, Owner representative, operations, contractors to ensure that the construction is as per design specification.
- Monitor, validate and control additional cost or variation orders and submit them to Project Manager for approval.
- Coordinate weekly and monthly meetings with all key person like consultants, Owner Representative, Contractors etc.
- Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions to meet the schedule and budget.
- Ensures safety documents and issues work permits to contractors in collaboration with Project Engineer and site safety officer.
- Hold the weekly and monthly project meetings with contractors and other key persons to update the status and activity of the project.
- Ensures that weekly or monthly project status reports are recorded by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
- Manage and coordinate vendors and suppliers during commissioning and testing of the equipment and systems with the assistance of commissioning engineer and project engineer.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering education.
- Physically fit to work at a construction site.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 yrs experience working on site installation coordinator and construction management.
- Experience working at process/equipment construction site, plant installation, EPC, or equivalent.
- With experience engineering design and technical document preparation is an advantage.
Skills:
- Ability to read, understand & demonstrate technical design drawings.
- Proficient to read and understand engineering plan drawings like piping and pipe support plan, equipment layout mechanical installation plan,
- Able to understand Architectural and structural drawings plans, Building mechanical and electrical plan, fire fighting system.
- Proficient with Microsoft office application and Microsoft project or equivalent
- Familiar with Singapore and international codes /ReguIations related, construction
