They have an international presence in over 100 countries worldwide and are looking out for a Assistant/Lead Software Tester to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.
Location: Ang Mo Kio
Responsibilities:
- Test Planning and Strategy: Define test objectives, criteria, and priorities based on software requirements and business goals.
- Test Execution: Execute hands-on testing, including manual and automated testing, to verify software functionality, performance, and security.
- Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Defect Management: Establish and maintain a defect-tracking system and ensure defects are documented, prioritized, and resolved in a timely manner.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve product quality.
- Test Documentation: Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
Requirements:
- Min. 4-6 years' experience as a Senior Software Test Engineer, with a focus on automation and leadership.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Proficient in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Typescript, Svelte, Golang).
- Extensive experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Testify, Selenium).
- ISTQB certified tester or similar certification is a good bonus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
