My client is a well-known and established company, with 10k+ employees globally. They are looking for sophisticated DBA to manage and maintain their database systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the development of tables, views, functions, and procedures, as well as performance tuning and database maintenance. This is the new headcount and unique opportunity to join the growing team due to business expansion.
Responsibility:
- providing strategic recommendations for database solutions to ensure the scalability, integrity, and security of the database infrastructure
- Administer and proactively monitor No-SQL database servers to ensure availability across multiple data centers
- Communicate and review database solutions, technical issues, and application requirements with operations staff and external entities
Requirement:
- University graduate in Computer Science / Information Technology, Engineering (Computer / Telecommunication) or equivalent
- At least 5 years in depth Database administration experience in an enterprise level environment
- Proficient in database high availability, replication technology, and performance tuning
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong desire to deliver high quality results in a timely fashion
