Senior Accountant/Accountant
Job Descriptions:
· Responsible for the full sets of financial statements for the holding and subsidiary companies
· Ensure timely monthly closing and financial reports and schedules the financial statements are prepared accurately and timely
· Review the work of the supporting team on daily accounting and finance duties including AR, AP processes, GL, tax, and bank reconciliation
· Prepare annual budget and ad-hoc forecast
· Liaise with external auditors on audit/accounting issues as well as ensure that the companies meet and comply with all accounting, tax, legislative and regulative requirement
· Liaise with the banks on treasury matters and prepare monthly bank reconciliation
· Monitor cash flow movements closely and make payments promptly
· Liaise with the auditors to ensure timely completion of audit and preparation of audited financial statements
· Coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support intercompany activities and finance policies
· Present relevant information to Management, Financial Controller and Department Heads for their information and decision-making
· Ensure effective management and internal controls are in place
· Any other assignments or duties assigned
Qualifications:
· Minimum a Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent certification
· Minimum 3 years working experience
· Proactive, exercise flexibility, able to multi-task and work independently
· Possess strong analytical skills, meticulous with high level of integrity
· Enjoy working with people and thrive in team environment in a fast paced environment
· Strong team player and able to work independently
· Knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)
· Flexible, an inquisitive mind and keen to learn and pick up new finance work
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
· Hands-on experience with accounting and reporting system will be an advantage
Salary
S$3,000 – S$5,000
