This advertisement is recruiting for the position of Administrative Support Stuff.
If successfully selected, you will be seconded to MOE primary school located in Bukit Panjang Ring Road.
Contract Period: From 02 January 2025 to 31 December 2025.
Option to Extend: for a further period of 1 year (1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026).
Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:
- Mondays to Wednesday & Friday: 6:45am to 3:00pm, inclusive of 45 mins lunch break
- Thursdays: 6:45am to 5.00 pm, inclusive of 45 mins lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
The service required are set out as follows :
Front Desk Operation
- Answer incoming calls and direct calls to the relevant parties
- Take down messages and convey messages to the relevant parties concerned
- Man reception area and attend to school visitors
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the school’s reception area
- Assist the administration of security procedures i.e. sign-in / out for visitors
- Assist in collating the class registers and students’ attendance.
- Prepare the meeting rooms prior to meeting
- Receive and direct visitors to meeting room
- Arrange for refreshment if required
Other Administrative Duties
- Assist in issuing of class registers to the students or teachers
- Assist other school staff in collating non-confidential information and filing of non-confidential documents.
- Handle other administrative work assigned by Principal, Vice-Principals and Administration Manager
The personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- NITEC (Office Skills) or minimum 5 GCE ‘O’ Level including pass in English Language. Officer without the required ‘O’ level passes but with relevant experience could also be considered.
- IT literate and proficient in the use of common office utility software (e.g. Microsoft Words, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Resourceful and able to harness information from various information sources (e.g. World Wide Web).
- Pleasant and service-oriented with at least 2 years’ experience as an Administrative Support Officer and have done work similar or equivalent to the job scopes mentioned above.
- Preferably have experience working in schools and deal with young children.
- Good interpersonal skills and able to relate to people
- Able to work independently and as a team player ability to use certain IT systems like SC mobile.
