We are seeking an experienced and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team of software, hardware, and RF engineers. In this role, you will play a key part in designing and implementing software/firmware test cases and CI/CD automation as part of firmware/software releases. The ideal candidate will contribute to designing, developing, coding, testing, and debugging software test cases and automation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement software test automation frameworks.
- Create and maintain test cases for firmware/software releases.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or Gitlab CI.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in embedded systems and networked devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality and meet project deadlines.
- Stay updated with software best practices and emerging technologies to enhance testing processes.
Core Skills
- Experience in software test automation.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell Script, or JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools.
- Familiarity with embedded devices and networking concepts.
- Hands-on experience in Linux/Wi-Fi environments.
- Knowledge of the software/system/product development lifecycle.
Requirements
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
- Proactive and adaptable with a commitment to learning and achieving results in a fast-paced setting.
