This role is 2 years direct contract with the client.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Development: Lead efforts to generate new business opportunities, driving revenue growth through direct sales initiatives and targeting new customers.
- Channel Partnership: Collaborate with distributors, resellers, and Value-Added Resellers (VARs), utilizing their market insights to align sales strategies and maximize channel impact.
- Channel Support & Enablement: Equip channel partners with the necessary resources, training, and continuous support to effectively promote and sell our products and services.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Work closely with internal sales teams to develop and execute strategies that align with both business objectives and partner goals.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with direct clients and channel partners, ensuring satisfaction and fostering loyalty.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly evaluate sales and channel performance, conducting business reviews to refine strategies and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market opportunities to continuously refine strategies and drive growth.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with the marketing team to develop and execute campaigns and programs that support both direct and channel sales efforts.
Requirements:
- A diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in commercial or channel sales, ideally within the technology sector.
- Strong understanding of channel sales principles, including best practices for managing relationships with distributors, resellers, and VARs.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and develop new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with a collaborative approach to working with others.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Salesforce experience is a plus).
- Willingness to travel to client sites, partner locations, and industry events as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing relationships with direct sales teams, distributors, resellers, or VARs.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Background in working within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
