Our client, an impactful social service organisation which adopts innovative methods to drive partnership & fundraising activities for their cause, is looking to hire a Fundraising Assistant Manager.
Job Objective:
As the leading agency in their field of support, they aim to empower the lives of people suffering with the condition & the wider ecosystem of support. Reporting to the Director of Fundraising & Partnerships, the role is responsible for driving and implementing fundraising strategies and campaigns; and growing sustainable income generation. This role requires a strong, innovative, charismatic personality with natural networking skills and the ability to build successful lasting relationships. Someone who is adaptable to fast paced environment, thinking out of the box and comfortable working under pressure and to deadlines.
You will be expected to:
- To meet Fundraising targets by looking for opportunities to reach and attract potential donors and assist in all marketing and fundraising activities.
- To deliver an effective fundraising pitch to seek out potential new donors, solicit new corporations via networking or cold calling.
- Assist to develop and implement a Major Donor Strategy and Individual Donor Strategy to increase fundraising income year on year including regular and legacy giving.
- Research, cultivate and secure corporate partnerships, sponsorships and approach trusts, government agencies and other bodies that could potentially make grants to the association.
- To manage grant application process and ensure that reporting is tracked and meets donors’ expectations.
- Make recommendations regarding new events and campaigns (online or physical) while always monitoring results and viability of existing activities.
