The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to work as a Research Fellow in computational soft matter physics using machine learning. The main research tasks include developing new numerical methods to simulate amyloid fibril nucleation using deep learning neural networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research outlined by PI
- Develop new research methodologies
- Critically analyse research data against theory
- Provide support to research students and other research staff
- Report research progress
- Publish research findings
Job Requirements:
- PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related fields
- Strong skills in numerical simulations and machine learning
- Excellent scientific writing and communication in English
- Team-oriented with good collaboration skills
