Preferred Skills/Abilities and Knowledge:
• Having sound knowledge and experience in Veritas NetBackup 10.X.X Master and media server, Data Domain, Azure Recovery services vaults, SAN Switches configuration & administration.
• Provide exceptional backup services, prioritizing simplicity and enhancing the customer experience.
• Administer backup environments in a mixed environment of Unix, Linux and Windows servers.
• Build and deploy backup infrastructure, including managing backup repositories.
• Demonstrate exceptional troubleshooting skills for backup, tape, DD, SAN SW and storage issues.
• Proficiently manage critical issues within the backup infrastructure, liaising across multiple technical towers as appropriate.
• Work independently and actively coach and develop peers, as well as participate in on-call rotations as required.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of multiple backup products, both through command line and GUI interfaces.
• Drive appropriate engagement and response from key vendors to ensure service levels for this environment.
• Adhere to established company processes, including change management, incident management, and problem management.
• Experience in managing critical backup infrastructure at scale
• Client engagement Ability to develop operational reports.
