- Commercial assistance for all new construction projects and bids
- Examine and discuss all shipyard and vendor quotes.
- Oversee all new construction projects' budgets.
- Keep an eye on and settle contractual and business concerns related to a new construction project.
- Communicate with the project/site team to make sure they comprehend and follow the responsibilities under contracts and the effects on business.
- Make certain that any engineering modification that affects commerce is recorded and updated.
- Examine the shipyard's and vendors' quotes and site instructions.
- Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes for equipment needed for the creation of new vessels.
- Create efficient workflows for the site crew, project assistance, and business/finance.
- Make certain that the current PR and PO are escalated promptly.
- The weekly commercial report is updated.
Qualifications:
- Engineering, supply chain, or marine-related occupations require a minimum diploma or degree.
- At least five years of relevant job experience.
- Capable of working with little supervision and exhibiting good initiative.
- Being proactive while maintaining a high feeling of urgency.
- Strong organisational and people abilities.
