About our client: Our client is a mechanical contractor providing a full range of services for plant construction in Oil&Gas industry.
About the role:
- Prepare tender schedules and preliminary master programmes, ensuring detailed task sequences align with contractual requirements and stipulated contractual period.
- Work closely with the bid team to provide schedule input during the tendering process, supporting accurate estimation and planning.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using project management software like Primavera Project Planner P6 and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Establish baseline schedules and monitor progress against this benchmarks & implementing critical float path analysis to determine problem areas and alert the project team to critical scheduling issues.
- Create detailed resource plans, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to meet project demands.
- Provides progress reporting (Daily, Weekly & Monthly), developing/updating progress curves, documents and briefing materials as required to assess progress, key milestones, delays, and resource utilization.
- Performs project performance analysis including earned value through the analysis of man-hour resources including productivity of workforce and equipment resources to monitor construction expenses/cost against planning.
- Develops creative reporting tools (i.e. Gantt charts, activity network diagrams and etc) to communicate complex project sequencing and progress assessments.
About you:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 - 5 years in project scheduling, preferably in construction or mechanical contracting.
- Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling, baseline management, and critical path analysis.
- Experience with resource planning (manpower, equipment, materials) and earned value management.
- Ability to prepare progress reports and project performance analysis.
- Proficient in creating Gantt charts and activity network diagrams.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify potential project delays.
- Strong communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure.

- Contract duration: 18 months (subject to extension)
- Work location: Jurong Island (pick-up transport provided)
- Work hours: 44 hours work week
