JOB SCOPE
The Front Office Manager is responsible to ensure that all guests are well received and attended throughout their stay with the Hotel.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Plan, monitor and control staff movement with regards to their annual leave, public holiday, medical leave and their rest days.
2. Conduct interview sessions for the recruitments for all front office positions.
3. Design and develop training programs to upgrade the skill level and improve the performance of the front office staff.
4. Ensure that regular on-going communication is carried out with all employees to create awareness of guests expectations.
5. Attend the daily morning briefing and monthly meeting with the Senior Management.
6. Authorise room rate changes, paid-out, room allowance and cash advances according to the established room rates.
7. Evaluate room availability during peak preiods to nmaximise occupancy.
8. Update policies and procedures to improve on the overall efficiency of the Front Office operations.
9. Work closely with Security department on all irregularies affecting the Front Office Department.
