Role:
- Oversee efficient and effective marine fuel procurement for company’s operating container vessels at designated ports and on assigned services.
- Coordinate and fulfill marine fuel requirements for company’s operating vessels as allocated.
- Drive cost-efficient marine fuel procurement through negotiation with suppliers, including oil majors, refineries, independent suppliers, and traders.
- Resolve issues related to marine fuel quality and quantity, addressing claims as necessary.
- Manage service providers associated with marine fuel, including surveyors and laboratory services.
- Oversee invoicing and payment processes related to marine fuel.
- Provide support for additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in shipping or a related maritime field.
- Proven experience in bunker procurement with strong negotiation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the bunker industry and fuel specifications.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to report and share information promptly.
- Positive attitude, with strong multitasking abilities and a capability to manage tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google Workspace.
