- Collaborate with the QA team to review incoming specifications and ensure purchase orders meet the required standards and specifications.
- Responsible for sourcing quotes for office and manufacturing-related raw materials and services, with expertise in recommending suitable alternative materials, grades, or composites.
- Coordinate with the Planning team to prevent costly shortages or sudden ramp-ups of raw materials and ensure timely follow-up with vendors for critical parts.
- Oversee supplier performance, including on-time delivery (OTD) and quality metrics, to ensure a consistent and reliable supply for production needs.
Requirements:
- Diploma in any discipline, preferably supplemented with a Certificate in Purchasing or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment. Applicants with less experience may also be considered. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
- Familiar with ERP/MRP/SAP system
