The Opportunity
- Adecco is partnering with a leading bank to hire a Project Manager (T&M)
- Focus: Project management, to ensure delivery of key initiatives on time and budget for trading systems and processes.
- Office Location: CBD
- Starts off as a 12 months contract
The Job
- Project management, to ensure delivery of key initiatives on time and budget for trading systems and processes.
- Engaging with stakeholders in front, middle and back-office across Trading business and technology to ensure alignment on key deliverables and timelines.
- Providing regular updates and following up on action items at working group across multiple workstreams in the project
- Manage project issues, form and execute actions to overcome blockers to the project implementation
- Plan and execute with the project team on key aspects of the project including requirements gathering, development, testing and eventual production release.
- Consolidate and provide regular (monthly) updates to the Project Steering Committee on the project status, including milestones achieved, project risks and issues for escalation and upcoming milestones (outlook).
The Talent
- >8 years of project management experience in the banking industry
- Good communication skills, able to articulate well project processes
- Experience handling full life cycle of projects
- Strong in PowerPoint presentation to stakeholders
- Experience and knowledge of Trading (Treasury) products, systems and processes will be very advantageous.
- Products include FX, fixed income products, derivatives, securities etc.
- Experience in engagement with trading business people will be ideal.
