about the job
You will be tasked to:
- Manage a portfolio of key clients who are largely global commodity traders
- Performing KYC and compliance related activities to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Increasing the wallet share by growing and cross-selling into other product lines (capital markets, advisory, transaction banking and etc.).
- Manage liaison and negotiations with all internal and external stakeholders, such as with the clients, lawyers, credit division, operations team and more.
- Ongoing credit monitoring and portfolio management
- Participate in any business meetings or discussions when necessary.
about the manager / team
Reporting to the Team Lead, you will be part of a small and nimble team in Singapore and a global team across the region/local offices.
skills & experience required
- Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business Management, Economics or comparable
- Has 10+ years of relevant experience dealing with global commodity traders as a coverage banker
- A background in Trade Commodity Finance (TCF) would be an advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
