As an Internal Audit Manager specializing in Corporate and Investment Banking and Commercial Banking), you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring compliance, and driving improvements in internal audit processes within a dynamic and fast-paced APAC regulatory environment.
The Role
- Lead and execute audits, serving as Auditor in Charge for engagements.
- Identify and assess key risks and controls, developing effective test plans.
- Manage multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal guidance.
- Draft and finalize audit findings and reports for review by senior leadership.
- Ensure audits are risk-based and aligned with internal policies and guidelines.
- Demonstrate expertise in Corporate and Investment Banking and Commercial Banking risks.
- Provide clear, logical audit opinions supported by relevant facts.
- Support regional governance forums and regulatory requests as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively and influence at multiple levels of management.
- Collaborate with regional Internal Audit teams to meet regulatory requirements.
- Analyze data, develop recommendations, and contribute to process improvements.
Your Profile
- 8+ years of strong audit experience with global banks or Big 4 consulting firms.
- In-depth knowledge of CIB/CB operations and APAC banking regulations.
- Thorough understanding of risk management and advisory practices.
- Proven ability to lead projects, analyze data, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills in high-pressure environments.
- Proficiency in Mandarin language (reading and writing) to support China-based counterparts is highly desirable.
