We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to oversee and manage the payroll operations for the organization. The Payroll Manager will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee salaries, benefits, deductions, and compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work closely with HR and finance departments to ensure the smooth execution of payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing: Manage and oversee the full payroll cycle for all employees & contractors ensuring accurate and timely processing of wages, bonuses, commissions, and deductions.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure payroll complies with relevant labor laws, tax regulations, and organizational policies.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records of employee hours, salary changes, tax filings, and benefits. Monitor and correct discrepancies in payroll data.
- Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, and other employee benefits, ensuring accurate deductions and enrollment.
- Employee Inquiries: Serve as a point of contact for employee payroll questions or concerns, providing timely and accurate responses.
- Audit & Reconciliation: Perform regular audits and reconciliations to ensure payroll accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and maintain up-to-date employee records.
- Collaboration: Work closely with HR and Finance teams to coordinate payroll data, benefits administration, and employee recordkeeping.
- System Management: Oversee payroll software systems, ensuring they are functioning correctly and implementing upgrades or improvements as needed.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of payroll processes.
Key Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience (5-8 years) in payroll management.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor laws.
- Strong understanding of payroll software systems
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
