Our client is a multinational corporation, specialising in high quality cooling piping solutions for various industries in Singapore.
Key Objective of the role:
Drive sales growth in the Cooling segment by identifying market trends, generating leads, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including consultants and end-users. Promote the company's cooling piping systems to establish the company as a preferred solutions provider in both the Industrial Solutions (IS) and Building Technology (BT) markets.
Core Responsibilities:
- Sales Management (30%) - Manage the sales process from planning to execution, coordinating with technical specialists.
Maintain CRM systems (e.g., MS Dynamics) to track opportunities, update project statuses, and plan customer interactions. Attend exhibitions and deliver training to customers. - Market Research and Engagement (25%) - Research opportunities in Cooling and Building Technology using tools like BCI. Identify sales leads, engage stakeholders, and evaluate market trends to develop targeted marketing and sales strategies.
- Stakeholder Management (30%) - Build relationships with consultants, contractors, and owners to specify the company's products for cooling applications.
- Strategic Development (15%) - Execute long-term strategies to grow sales, focusing on sectors such as hospitality, commercial, and district cooling.
Requirements:
- Sales Expertise - Minimum 5 years of sales experience in cooling-related products (e.g., chillers, cooling towers).
Proven ability to secure business deals and meet sales targets.
Established network in the cooling industry. - Technical Knowledge - Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, fire codes, building regulations, and eco-friendly practices.
Familiarity with cooling system applications in industrial markets. - Analytical and Market Insights - Skilled in analyzing market trends, customer behaviors, and competitor activities to create sales opportunities.
- Interpersonal Skills - Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work both independently and in teams.
Project and Process Management - Experience managing sales processes from initiation to completion.
Awareness of energy efficiency and building standards.
