Job Description
The Department of Food Science & Technology at the National University of Singapore (NUS) invites applications for Instructor position.
Roles and responsibilities of the position include:
a) Developing and conducting lab modules for New Product Development and Food Engineering related modules.
b) Conduct some lecture and/or tutorial for the modules.
c) Perform trial runs, time tabling coordinating, TAs allocation, arranging training plans etc.
d) Assessment and report marking.
e) Serving as Instructor for other FST modules (such as running FST1101 tutorials) whenever needed.
f) developing /organizing summer training programme or short lab training courses to public if need arises.
g) Participate in other department activities.

Contract term: Three years in first instance, renewable.
Qualifications
PhD degree in food science and technology with broad set of hands-on experimental skills related to food chemistry, food processing, food analysis, and cell and molecular biology. Strong interpersonal skills and passionate in teaching.
BSc degree with high distinction and strong teaching experience may apply.
