Description & Requirements
This job involves tasks such as ensuring the machinery is operated safely so as not to injure anyone or cause damage to buildings, making minor repairs when necessary, and recording a daily report of inventory and completed tasks, ensuring that operating safety policies and procedures are adhere to, ensure that the equipment is well maintained.
- Understanding of Equipment Operations & Physical Limitations
- Awareness of Equipment Safe operations & associated safety precautions
- Understanding Signals & Banksman Assistance / Communications
- Use of controls & electrical / mechanical & hydraulic systems
- Awareness of Inspection, Testing & maintenance / Safety Hazards
- Understanding of HSE Principles & Concerns over HSE matters
- Understanding Concepts of Equipment Handling & Load / Attachment Management
- Appreciation of Site Limitations & Associated / Related Activities
- Consideration of & Working with other Construction Site Users
- Be able to work odd shifts if required
- Be able to conform to safety rules & regulations
