Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze sales and purchasing data to derive insights for market trend forecasting and informed decision-making.
- Conduct cost analyses to evaluate total ownership costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Research and assess potential new suppliers, value-added services, and contractors.
- Assist the sales team in managing subcontractors and vendors for various projects.
- Maintain material master data, including creating new part numbers and Bill of Materials (BoM) items.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to place orders with different factories.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with factories and suppliers to achieve favorable agreements.
- Monitor open orders and adjust delivery schedules as required.
- Address product quality issues, short-shipment claims, and replacement with factories and suppliers.
- Plan and propose buffer or safety stock levels to meet customer and project demands.
- Perform forecasting and demand planning for both ongoing and project-based business needs.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
- Handle any other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- At least 1 to 3 years of experience in procurement.
- Minimum qualification of a Diploma in any discipline.
- Proficient in SAP is a must.
- Experience in subcontractor management and/or project procurement
