Key Responsibilities
· Advise on tax-efficient operations, investments, and financial transactions while ensuring accurate tax compliance.
· Handle tax audits, liaise with authorities, and mitigate tax-related risks.
· Monitor tax law changes, analyze impacts, and update strategies and policies.
· Lead and mentor a team, ensuring quality in tax advisory and compliance.
· Collaborate with clients and advisors to resolve complex tax matters.
· Track tax administration progress and prepare revenue forecasts.
· Support special projects like tax restructuring and international tax planning.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA/CA).
· Accredited Tax Professional with SCTP in Income Tax; GST accreditation is an advantage.
· Minimum of 5 years of relevant business tax experience, preferably in a public accounting or audit firm.
· Strong technical tax knowledge, including corporate tax, GST, and tax policy development.
· Experience in managing complex and sizable tax engagements.
