About the role
Reporting to the Production Manager, this full-time Production Supervisor role is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operations of the production floor at our FMCG/Beverage Manufacturing facility located in the Tuas View West Region. In this hands-on supervisory position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our production processes and contributing to the overall success of the business.
What you'll be doing
- Lead and motivate a team of production staffs in powder and liquid filling to ensure good quality and efficiency
- Ensure good GMP and food standards are always maintained
- Work closely with functional departments to ensure smooth operations and follow up
- Perform training and development to enhance competency of production staffs
- Ensure good stock record and accurate inventory management by timely update into SAP system
- Initiate improvement and promptly inform superior for any. quality defects and process deviation to ensure optimal production
- Monitor production schedule and daily output
- Perform material usage, labor hours usage and production confirmation in SAP
- Monitor production staff attendance and overtime hours
- Provide supervision and motivation to operation staffs and addressing disciplinary issues when arises
- Provide back up support to maintenance team in equipment troubleshooting
- Assist in training operators in automation control process
What we're looking for
- 3-5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor or Team Leader in a FMCG/Beverage manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of production processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address production challenges effectively
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, providing coaching and performance feedback
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Diploma or degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred
