Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to increase spare parts market share and revenue, while striving to meet sales growth targets and expanding into new markets.
- Handle sales opportunities from leads to ensure timely fulfilment and profitability and provide accurate forecasts and sales pipeline plans for management.
- Promote service sales (aftermarket products) alongside spare parts sales to distributors and identify new opportunities within existing accounts.
- Offer technical support to distributors with extensive knowledge of diesel industrial engines and optimize inventory levels to balance costs and availability.
- Maintain records of projects, pricing, sales, and activities, and create and present proposals to sales representatives, customers, and prospects.
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives across functional areas and perform other assigned duties related to parts sales and aftermarket activities.
Requirements
- Min. Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the spare parts or automotive industry.
- Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills with a customer service mindset and enthusiasm for spare parts/power generation products.
- Independent and results-oriented, with a strong business sense and good interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarinto liaise with Mandarin-speaking customers.
- Prior experience with engine manufacturers' spare parts is beneficial.
- Willing to travel within the Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia region.
