Role Overview
This role focuses on supply planning, inventory management, master data maintenance, and supporting digital transformation initiatives to ensure efficient operations and optimal service levels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supply Planning & Inventory Management
- Monitor and manage stock levels to meet KPIs, including clearing excess or aged inventory and mitigating future risks.
- Analyze forecasts to calculate reorder quantities and maintain inventory targets (safety stock, replenishment files).
- Ensure timely purchase orders, inbound shipments, and invoice processing while resolving discrepancies.
- Collaborate with teams on stock allocation, expediting, and freight solutions to meet demand.
- Optimize inventory and service levels through data analysis and improvement recommendations.
- Coordinate with logistics teams on shipment issues and oversee stock counts.
2. Master Data Management
- Set up and maintain SKUs, land costs, and transfer pricing in systems (JDE, Product Cloud).
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory information.
3. S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning)
- Participate in demand and supply planning meetings to align promotional plans and inventory needs.
- Work with cross-functional teams to prevent overstock and low-stock scenarios.
4. KPI Reporting
- Prepare reports (e.g., sales vs. budget, slow-moving stock, shipping forecasts) and propose SKU rationalization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve KPI adherence and stock management.
5. Digital Transformation & Process Improvement
- Support projects for process optimization, including new tools, system troubleshooting, and KPI reporting enhancements.
- Propose improvements for supply planning and product lifecycle processes.
Key Systems: JDE ERP, Product Cloud, Anaplan, Connect.
This role requires strong collaboration, analytical skills, and a focus on continuous improvement to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Over 3 years of experience in supply chain management, specifically in supply planning and inventory management within a retail setting.
- Highly organized, analytical, self-driven, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle complex tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in critical and logical thinking.
- Technologically savvy with advanced Excel skills and familiarity with stock management or MRP systems; experience with JDE is an advantage.
