Merchandising Executive / Administrator

We are looking for a meticulous and organized Merchandising Executive/Administrator to provide vital support in business reporting, purchase order management, shipment coordination, and administrative tasks. This role, based at a vibrant airport location, involves working closely with internal teams and brand partners to ensure smooth operations, timely reporting, and accurate inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
Business Reporting
- Prepare detailed sales performance and inventory reports (weekly, monthly, and annual) to track trends, slow-moving items, and top-performing products.
- Generate ROI analysis reports for promotions and provide pricing data summaries for market surveys.
- Support global merchandising initiatives with ad-hoc reporting for regional markets (Singapore, Hong Kong, and Korea).
Purchase Order & SKU Management
- Extract data on historical sales, inventory, and pricing to assist buyers in preparing purchasing plans.
- Upload purchase orders into the system and track vendor delivery timelines.
- Maintain accurate SKU data, including the creation of new product entries and price updates.
Shipment & Inventory Coordination
- Liaise with logistics and vendors to resolve shipment discrepancies and ensure timely deliveries.
- Communicate stock availability, arrivals, and transfers with operational teams.
- Prepare distribution lists and coordinate the deployment of new merchandise to stores.
General Administration
- Manage routine order processing, SKU updates, and handling non-commercial stock-related tasks.
- Calculate and reconcile monthly rebates, discounts, and billing summaries.
- Coordinate with brand partners on promotional mechanics, sales contests, and stock returns/write-offs.
- Ensure promotional materials (e.g., GWPs) are tagged and distributed accurately.
Requirements
- Diploma in Business or Retail Management.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in merchandising, inventory management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (including Pivot Tables) is essential; knowledge of SAP systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong numerical aptitude and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
