about the role
We are seeking a skilled professional to support internal teams with tax-related matters, including preparing tax returns and supporting documents for income tax, VAT/GST, and other areas. Responsibilities include reviewing tax work papers and returns, preparing tax provisions for global financial statements, and analyzing changes in tax laws. The role also involves preparing or reviewing transfer pricing studies, conducting tax research, and addressing tax authority inquiries. Additionally, you will ensure the accuracy of tax packages, provide technical support for restructuring, liaise with external service providers, and stay updated on changes in tax legislation and regulations that impact the business.
skills and experience required
You should possess a finance or accounting degree. You should have at least 3 years of relevant experience in Corporate tax. Prior experience in big 4 tax role will be advantageous. You have to be able to converse in Mandarin OR Vietnamese in order to work seamlessly with colleagues in those regions with limited English proficiency. Office is in the Northeast part of Singapore.
